This is just as psychological as it is about physics. The burden of proof fallacy(another good TedEd video) lives on people believing the what they want about the cat. People believe that they can pick one or the other without 100% proof either way. But it doesnt work like that. Do aliens exist based on a lack of the proverbial box not being opened? No, someone needs to open the box and show u if there are aliens.

The experiment suggested at the end of the talk is "only" an indirect proof of extra dimensions existing, but does not proove WHERE TO the graviton is disappearing. Does it have to vanish into one or more of the extra dimensions, and if so, it should still be "somewhere". The really interesting question would be "where did it go, and does it still exist there ?" – the CERN experiment in my view is just constructed to proove disprove our hypothesis of additional dimensions, but not what they are & where energy / matter ends up when entering these dimensions. Any thoughts on this ?
